The countdown to the premiere of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, the third and final film in The Hobbit Trilogy, has begun and New Zealand Post is giving fans and the public the opportunity to feature as one or more of the 13 Dwarves from The Hobbit Motion Picture Trilogy in a special-edition stamp range.
In an agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Warner Bros. Pictures, and the filmmakers, New Zealand Post has exclusive rights to produce official stamps that celebrate Sir Peter Jackson’s trilogy of films based on The Hobbit, productions of New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM). Eight Limited Edition Forever Stamps Celebrate Batman’s Evolution in Comics
WASHINGTON, D.C. and BURBANK, CA — The U.S. Postal Service, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment, is proud to announce that Batman, one of DC Comics’ most beloved characters, will be immortalized in a Limited Edition Forever postage stamp collection.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment has teamed up with Australian icon Mambo to launch a first of its kind collaboration. The collection features men’s clothing and men’s and boy’s sleepwear, available in stores now. The highly anticipated women’s and girl’s range will launch early 2015.
Mambo has partnered with Warner Bros. Consumer Products Australia and New Zealand, on behalf of DC Entertainment, to access the hugely popular Super Heroes and Super-Villains of DC Comics, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Catwoman seizing inspiration and themes for the collection. London, 8 October 2014: Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) announced today a global deal with publishing partner Eaglemoss for an all new Harry Potter partwork collection. Beginning in 2015, Eaglemoss’ new Harry Potter collection will be available to millions of fans around the world.
The first partwork will feature a collection of figurines, inspired by Warner Bros.’ Harry Potter film series and will entice fans with background facts and information about the characters. The collection is set for launch in the UK next year, with launch dates for other markets to be announced at a later date. (more…)
Anxiously awaiting guests set to leave the ordinary world and take first steps into the wizarding world…
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, an area meticulously recreating the world of the Harry Potter stories, opened this morning (Tues., July 15) at 7:35 AM at Universal Studios Japan.
At approximately 7:15 AM, Mr. Tom Felton and Ms. Evanna Lynch, who both starred in the Harry Potter film series, joined USJ Co., Ltd., President & CEO Mr. Glenn Gumpel, and commenced an Opening Ceremony at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s entrance archway to much applause from guests anxious to enter. Mr. Felton and Ms. Lynch led the guests with the Revelio spell as the archway was filled with smoke, which slowly lifted to reveal Hogsmeade village prompting cheers from waiting park guests. Then so many guests stepped into Hogsmeade village with excitement and were welcomed by Hogsmeade villagers. (more…)
